Sand

So sand and a fun beach movie. We use some of the sand and some water for filtering. We discuss evaporation. Then we go through letters,shapes,and numbers. From the movie, we point out the colors. We make one solid shape with a mold with the sand.

Mud Pies

A little pan with dirt and water with a smock...Alvin and the Chipmunks. So we watch the episode to point out colors and shapes. We make monster mud people. We discuss the science of dirt and rocks. Then we use letter chipmunks to make another word from the letter using the sight word list.

The Little People

Fisher Price. The little people is a great teaching tool. Use playdough to teach colors and make furniture for your little people. Then use the video to point out numbers and phonic sounds. Use your play dough to make cookies for your play dough. Discuss the science of heat.

Measuring Spoons

The measurement spoons are tiny things. We are going to take one thing and place it in another container. Then we look at the numbers on the spoons. Why do you need these measurements? Teach a lesson of the history of measurements. Then we use the science of plastic of a preschool level.

Meaurement Cup

So we going to bake. We are count out the things we need. We can point out the size, shapes, and colors. Then as we bake our lesson. We go over the alphabet.  We go through science of things going from a liquid to a solid.

Ruler

So we take out our ruler. Then we count the numbers. We look at the color of the wood. Then we point out things we can measure with a basic measurement lesson. What is overall shape of your rule.
Then we take the letters  r u l e r and make other words using the letters from the sight word list. What is the lesson of earth science from the tree?

Space

Welcome to NASA.  This lesson can be done at home or at the local library.  Count the planets. The
circle becomes the sphere. Name the basic shapes. Then have your little one go over the solid shape set. Where do you live? So, what are the facts of Earth.  Name things that start with E.  Have your little to state what planet would they like to live. Then change that planet color.  Have them to write a story on their planet using the sight word list.

The World

A map will do online or a globe if you have one. The circle becomes a square. Then the colors on the map or globe. Where do you live? What is your state flower? Discuss that flower in science. What is the history of your state? The letter of your state starts with...Make a meal from that is a favorite from your state.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is a great classroom for a little walk. The tree starts with T. Count the number of clouds. What is that place? Do you know the history of it? The shape of the pond, park, fountain is...
The color of this flower is and the science behind fall flowers.

Line Paper

The basic lesson. In pen, make the four letters of alphabet, 0-4, a color word, a number word, and the name by dots. Then to a favorite nursery rhyme, have the little one to trace these items by connect the dots with a big pencil.

Tracing

So we need a leaf. We trace around the leaf. Then we put the letter of the week inside the drawing. We talk about why we used the color that we have for our drawing. Then count our hand. We make another drawing as we trace our hand. Then glue leaves on the hand drawing. Count the number of leaves we use to make the drawing.

Movie Time

We watch our favorite movie with a coloring book. Show the movie. Then we color. We discuss what colors we saw in the movie. Go through the basics of colors, shapes, numbers, and alphabets.  Then we make something out of clay from the movie.

Big Pencil

The big pencil is a great for a little one. So we draw the picture of the home. Then we color it our favorite color. Then we spell the word of the color. We write our name and address in pencil at the bottom of the page. The science of light can be discussed. The history of an historical home is also another great topic. Spell the word house. Then count the number of letters. Use one of the core shapes, draw one on the page, add a line to make a tree shape.

Fingerpaint

So fingerpaint. We should start counting our fingers. Then teach adding and subtracting with simple problems on your fingers. Draw your favorite shape in finger paint. Ask the little one what is their favorite letter. It is, draw it inside the shape. Talk about the sound of this letter. What is science behind color? Then pick out one water color base artist, then give the little one his or her biography.
