Words

The basic sight word list makes reading easier as they learn phonics. I like the books with the pictures so they have a visual. Jump rope for an active learner is great. Visual learner may need a video. A listener can have a little nursery rhyme music. So at least three times a week, two or three words a time to start, go through this list. Then end up with five but no more than ten.

Colors

A color teaching day to ensure that your little ones knows their colors can be fun for them. You can start with water color project and paint. A favorite cartoon is also a way to teach them for the day. The basic box of crayons with main colors as they color and talk about their day.  A field trip for the art museum is great for an active learner.
